The classes offered!!!!
Calm My Anxious Heart (Linda Dillow)
Women worry a lot. We fret about our children, our friends, our careers, our spouses---the list goes on and on! If you're tired of being held hostage to a million "what ifs," this Bible study provides the help you need to exchange your anxieties for godly peace and contentment.
Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy
(Beth Moore Video Study) Learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Just as the prophet Daniel faced enormous pressures— to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and confront temptations and threats—today's believers face many of the same trials. We can live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society.
How to Really Love Your Adult Children
(Gary Chapman & Ross Campbell) Economic upheavals, challenges to traditional values and beliefs, the phenomenon of over-involved "helicopter parenting" - all make relating to grown children more difficult than ever. Yet at the same time, being a parent of an adult child can bring great rewards. We will explore how to really love our adult child in today's changing world.
The Five Love Languages (Gary Chapman)
Are you and your spouse speaking the same language? While love is a many-splendored thing, it is sometimes a very confusing thing, too. More often than not, the giver and the receiver each express love in different ways. That can lead to misunderstanding, quarrels, and even divorce. This study identifies five basic love languages and then guides couples toward a better understanding of how each of them uses these love languages. Skillful communication is within your grasp!
The Hole in Our Gospel (Richard Stearns)
More than half the earth's population can't find work, feed their families, or secure adequate housing. How can we better care for the neighbor next door---or the woman across the planet? We will explore Jesus' call to love our neighbors and how to use our time, talents, and money to heal a broken world.
Boundaries (Henry Cloud/John Townsend)
Having clear boundaries is essential to a healthy, balanced lifestyle. A boundary is a personal property line that marks those things for which we are responsible. Boundaries impact all areas of our lives: Physical boundaries help us determine who may touch us, mental boundaries give us the freedom to have our own thoughts, emotional boundaries help us to deal with our own emotions and spiritual boundaries help us to distinguish God's will from our own.
*Please note: There will be a book cost for all classes.
