1 . Effective Parenting in a Defective World
A Chip Ingram DVD series

Parenting is not for the weak at heart! It seems that no matter how hard we try to raise our children in line with biblical principles, our children are constantly bombarded with contradictory signals in and out of the home. In this class you will be challenged to re-evaluate your role as a parent. You will also gain new insights and principles to apply in your family.

If you have children of any age, this series will greatly affect you, but the emphasis of the discussions will focus on the joys and challenges of raising pre-teens and teenagers.

Together we will watch Chip Ingram inform and instruct us about the roles of parenting, discipline, and applying godly principles in raising our children. After each video session, there will be time for reflection in a workbook, and small group discussion. The homework will be to re-examine how you can raise your children in line with God’s word, and implement strategies to do so.

2. Craft and Chat

Each Wednesday, you'll have the opportunity to come and bring a craft of your own you've been working on.  Spend time with other women, creating friendships and crafts together.  We'd like to network as well, and so if you have a great little craft shop you've stumbled upon in BKK, bring the details to share with the rest of us as well.

3. Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit

“The fruit of the Spirit is the outcome of being filled with the Holy Spirit and is living proof that the Spirit of God lives in us. Through this study you will come to appreciate the supernatural aspects of the fruit of the Holy Spirit—you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own. You will be challenged to pursue the only route to develop the fruit—by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God. As you walk with God, He develops in you the fruit of the Sprit. Through the viewing of Beth Moore lectures via DVD, and class discussion of homework, we will discover that a life filled with the Spirit results in truly living beyond yourself.”
Note: Due to the length of this video series, the introductory video (1 hour) will be viewed after the Celebration Luncheon on the 20th. Also we will meet after the second and third celebration luncheons to be able to complete the study course.

4. Women of Purpose  

God has a Special Purpose for Your Life.  In a goal-oriented world, it’s easy to lose sight of the value of process. And yet, again and again, God reveals that purpose is found in the process. For those waiting for great passions to be played out, Women of Purpose allows God to search their hearts and reveal His purpose and plan in the midst of their dreams. Find out how surrender and release lead to a lightness of heart that allows us to seize the day and receive what God has entrusted to each of us.

5. The Cries of Job

This will be an in-depth exploration on Job's struggles in times of suffering and grace.  This class is an invitation to the pilgrimage of Job to discover life's reality in the awesome reality of the living God. 

6. “Songs of the Heart” Topic of the Day

This drop-in class will be for ladies visiting our Women’s Day program, who are not able to commit to an entire session of classes. Regular attendees of WD are also welcome. The class will discuss and dig deeper into the devotionals shared by Adrienne Blomberg and Kimberly Quinley in the large group gathering each Wednesday morning. Adrienne or Kimberly will facilitate discussion questions and scripture sharing from their devotionals taken from the Psalms

7. The Alpha Course Part 2

This is a continuation of the The Alpha Course.  Alpha is both an evangelistic tool for those who are investigating the Christian faith for the first time and a means for church goers to deepen their faith. The Alpha Course addresses questions like: Who is Jesus? Why and How do I pray? How Does God Guide Us? How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life? and other questions.
